Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will act as the primary marketing representative for Motorola in Peru, leading the local marketing agenda and ensuring alignment between brand priorities and business objectives.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution in a small, dynamic team environment. The position will be responsible for brand positioning, sell-out initiatives, channel and customer relationships, budget governance, and the management of internal and external resources. The role currently includes responsibility for one direct report and coordination with external agencies.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of Motorola’s marketing strategy and priorities in Peru.
- Act as the local marketing representative and brand ambassador.
- Drive brand-positioning initiatives in alignment with business and regional objectives.
- Support sell-out performance through relevant marketing programs and commercial initiatives.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with retail, carrier, and other channel partners.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring appropriate allocation, monitoring, control, and transparency.
- Lead and develop one direct report.
- Coordinate external agencies and other resources involved in the execution of marketing activities.
- Work closely with the Country Leader, commercial teams, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
- Manage both strategic and tactical marketing responsibilities according to evolving business needs.
- Travel within Peru and occasionally internationally for business meetings or regional activities, when required.
- Completed university degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing brand-positioning initiatives and supporting commercially oriented or sell-out programs.
- Experience working with customers, channels, retailers, carriers, agencies, or comparable business partners.
- Experience managing and monitoring marketing budgets.
- Previous experience coordinating resources, agencies, or team members.
- Previous people-management experience is required, as the position will currently have one direct report.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Hybrid work model, currently three days per week in the office.
- The role may require domestic travel within Peru and occasional international travel for regional meetings
