Database Administrator at BairesDev

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the health and performance of our production data environments. You will ensure data integrity and availability by managing critical database operations and optimizing system resources.

What You'll Do

• Administer and maintain production databases.
• Perform proactive monitoring to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before they impact users.
• Design and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
• Manage database replication and high availability configurations to ensure continuous service.
• Execute advanced SQL tuning and optimization to improve system response times.
• Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive organizational data.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in operating and tuning production databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL languages such as T-SQL or PL/SQL for performance tuning and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience managing database backups, replication, and implementing high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
