AWS Security Engineer at BairesDev

As an AWS Security Engineer, you will be responsible for securing the foundational cloud infrastructure that powers our applications. You will act as a key link between security policy and engineering execution, ensuring that identity management, networking controls, and data protection are seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement comprehensive IAM strategies to ensure secure access and least-privilege principles across cloud environments.
• Configure and manage robust network security controls, including VPC isolation, firewalls, and web application protection.
• Develop and maintain automated security guardrails using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable secure-by-default deployments.
• Oversee data protection mechanisms, ensuring consistent encryption and key management for data at rest and in transit.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security requirements early in the design phase and automate continuous compliance monitoring.
• Drive the organization’s adherence to global security frameworks like SOC2 and ISO 27001 through proactive governance and auditing.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering or Information Security.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing IAM strategies and network security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with data protection mechanisms including encryption, KMS, and TLS.
• Strong background in ensuring cloud infrastructure compliance with frameworks like SOC2 and ISO 27001.
• Proficiency in managing security configurations and governance policies in multi-cloud environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
