About Us

MEDLIFE is a non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development projects. Our mission is to build a worldwide Movement empowering the poor in their fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home. Our vision is a world free from the constraints of poverty. MEDLIFE works with students from around the world to broaden their perspectives and better equip them to advocate for social justice.

Our ideal Outbound Growth & Cold Email Coordinator

We're looking for someone who has already built high-volume outbound systems and knows how to turn cold prospects into real conversations. We value proof over credentials: you should be able to speak to specific numbers, including volumes, bounce and response rates, the campaigns that worked, the ones that failed, and what you changed next. You measure yourself by the growth engine you build, not by the number of emails you send. As we continue growing, we'd love for you to be part of the MEDLIFE Movement.

About The Role

You will build and own MEDLIFE's outbound expansion engine end to end: identifying, reaching, and converting high-potential U.S. college students into qualified conversations that grow MEDLIFE's Student Leadership Teams and chapter network. The role owns audience development, data and enrichment, cold email infrastructure, campaign execution, and conversion, using AI as leverage to reach thousands of qualified prospects without damaging MEDLIFE's sender reputation.

This is an individual contributor position with end-to-end ownership of outbound results. As the function grows, the role has a clear path to a Lead position with a team of its own. You will report to the Marketing Head and work closely with the Expansion, Sales, Marketing, and Data Solutions teams.

What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?

Identify the universities, programs, student organizations, and individual students most likely to become MEDLIFE leaders, and build targeted prospect lists and ICPs.
Source, verify, and maintain clean, structured prospect data flowing into our CRM, using enrichment tools and AI.
Build and manage secondary sending domains: configure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, tracking, and inboxes, protecting MEDLIFE's primary domain and brand reputation.
Manage inbox warm-up and sending volume responsibly, monitoring bounce rates, spam placement, sender reputation, and blocklists.
Write and test cold email sequences and messaging for different student personas, testing subject lines, CTAs, and follow-ups.
Maintain CAN-SPAM and other applicable compliance practices.
Generate qualified conversations for the Expansion team and move interested students toward becoming campus leaders, Student Leadership Team members, or chapter founders.
Work closely with the Expansion team to understand which leads actually convert, and optimize targeting and messaging based on downstream conversion data.

What will you bring?

3+ years of hands-on experience building and running high-volume cold email and outbound campaigns, including [X]+ years targeting U.S. prospects.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data/Growth Analytics, or Computer Science preferred but not required; demonstrated hands-on experience building and scaling outbound systems takes precedence over formal credentials.
Proven outbound execution: cold email at meaningful scale (not small-batch or newsletter-level sending), campaign testing, and iteration based on real results.
Deliverability ownership: sending infrastructure you have personally managed across multiple domains and inboxes, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up, domain reputation, bounce management, and spam prevention.
Audience and data expertise: ICP definition, prospect list building, enrichment, and data verification using modern outbound platforms (Clay, Apollo, or equivalent) and enrichment APIs.
AI in production: demonstrated use of AI tools or agents for prospect research and personalization in at least one real production workflow.
CRM experience: CRM systems and automated lead workflows; HubSpot strongly preferred.
Copywriting instincts: subject lines, sequences, CTAs, and messaging tested against real response data.
A quantifiable track record: volumes, bounce and response rates, and outcomes you can speak to in specific numbers.
Comfort working quickly, testing aggressively, and being held accountable for measurable outcomes.
High level of proficiency in English.
